EazyDiner IndusInd Bank Platinum Credit Card is the base variant of the co-branded credit cards IndusInd Bank offers with EazyDiner—the other one being EazyDiner IndusInd Bank Signature Credit Card. While both cards are designed to enhance the dining experience through complimentary EazyDiner Membership and additional discounts at 2,000+ partner restaurants, the base variant is a more suitable option for beginners seeking a lifetime free credit card with dining benefits.
For a zero annual fee, the card offers exceptional benefits for those who dine out several times in a month. Cardholders can save up to 50% on their dining bills and can earn extra via 2x EazyPoints, redeemable against free meals and hotel bookings.
With Zomato discontinuing its Edition Program, the card has no such competitor as of now, except the HDFC Swiggy Credit Card that offers co-branded benefits on all Swiggy services, including 10% cashback on Dineout. However, it comes at a comparatively high fee of Rs. 500 in comparison to no fee on this card.
Note that the primary features on the card are centered around dining with limited benefits on other categories. Thus, it cannot be the sole card to rely on to derive overall savings on your lifestyle. However, it can be a good add-on to your wallet to save on your dining expenses if you have other existing credit cards to cover up for where the card lacks. The good part, however, is that it covers some often excluded categories in its rewards program.

Many card issuers offer dining discounts as an add-on privilege via their dining programs, such as ICICI’s Culinary Treats and Axis Bank’s Dining Delights. The Eazy Diner card is specially comparable with Axis Cards, as these offer dining discount benefits on EazyDiner of up to 30%. But in comparison to EazyDiner cards, these are subject to capping and restrictions. It is better to compare the value back you will be able to derive, with respect to the capping, limits, and other terms and conditions. If you are willing to pay an annual fee, you might avail similar benefits as the EazyDiner card along with extensive value back on other spends. However, if you specifically want a lifetime free card with unlimited benefits on dining, it is better to stick to the EazyDiner IndusInd Card.

Unlike most credit cards that limit the dining discount to a specific value, this card does not cap the up to 50% discount. Additionally, along with dining, the card offers rewards on often excluded categories such as insurance, rent, utility, and Government spends. For a lifetime free credit card, this can be a good option to avail savings on frequent dining bills.
