BPCL SBI Card is a co-branded fuel credit card that offers up to 4.25% value-back to consumers in the form of accelerated reward points and fuel surcharge waiver at BPCL petrol pumps. Accumulated reward points can be instantly redeemed at over 1,200 partner BPCL outlets. Interestingly, despite being a fuel card, it does not limit the benefit to fuel category only, as you get accelerated rewards on other spending categories like grocery, dining and movies.
With a low annual fee of Rs. 499 only, BPCL SBI Card competes with other entry-level fuel cards like IndianOil HDFC, IndianOil Axis and ICICI HPCL Super Saver. Consumers who have considerable fuel expenses and wish to save on this spend, along with decent returns across other practical categories, can consider applying for this credit card.
SBI BPCL Credit Card offers you accelerated savings on BPCL fuel purchases, as discussed below:
13X Rewards: 13 Reward points per Rs. 100 spent on fuel spends at BPCL petrol pumps, capped at 1,300 Reward points every month
1% Fuel Surcharge Waiver: On BPCL transactions worth up to Rs. 4,000, capped at Rs. 100 per month
Here, you can save 3.25% on BPCL fuel purchases via rewards, as 1 Reward point = Rs. 0.25, and 1% via surcharge waiver. This makes the total value-back of 4.25% on your co-branded fuel spends. So, if you spend Rs. 5,000 on fuel at BPCL fuel pump, you get 650 reward points, which are valued at Rs. 162.50. Along with this, you also save Rs. 50 as surcharge waiver.
Accumulated reward points can be redeemed against fuel purchase at over 1,200 BPCL fuel outlets. There is no minimum points threshold for reward redemption, which further adds to the benefit.

Apart from saving options on fuel, SBI BPCL credit cardholders can also avail the following benefits:
