How to Link PAN Card to ICICI Account

The government has made it compulsory to link PAN with the ICICI Bank account. New as well as existing users need to add or update their PAN cards with the bank account. If any user has failed to do so, they need to submit Form 60/61 to the bank and state the reasons for not possessing a PAN Card.

 

As ICICI Bank is one of the largest Indian multinational banking and financial services company, it covers a wide network of 4850 branches in India and 19 foreign branches. All ICICI bank account holders should get their PAN linked with operational bank accounts to avail the benefits of government subsidies as well as carrying out financial activities. If account holders fail to do so, they will not be entitled to get TDS certificates from the bank and will have to face consequences thereby.

There are two ways through which account holders can get their PAN linked with ICICI bank account – online and offline. All you need is to follow the below mentioned steps:

Link ICICI Bank Account with PAN Card Online

New or existing users can get their accounts linked with bank accounts without paying any visits to the branch. Users can easily link their bank accounts with PAN online by following the below mentioned steps:

• Login to your ICICI internet banking account by visiting https://infinity.icicibank.com/
• Fill up your Net banking Customer ID and Password to process further
• After getting logged in to the page, click on the “Service Request” option given on the left side of the window
• Select the PAN/Update PAN details menu from the drop down list under “Service Request” option
• Enter your 10-digit alphanumeric code (PAN) in the space provided, Date of Birth and registered e-mail id and then select the PAN Card Updation option
• After entering the details, confirm the same to get updated
• You will receive an update after two working days after successful linking

Once the verification is processed, account holder will receive notification via mail or message registered with the bank account. As PAN card is regarded as the official document for initializing financial transaction, each and every individual and non-individual entity should go for it.

Link ICICI Bank Account with PAN Card through Offline

PAN now can also be linked with the ICICI Bank Account offline. All you need is to follow the below mentioned steps:

• Visit the ICICI Bank Branch where you have maintained your account
• Ask for PAN updation form (KYC) and fill up the details required without making any mistakes or overwriting in the form
• After filling up the details submit the form to bank officials
• You will receive an update of getting your PAN linked with the bank account after the verification

Once the above mentioned process is completed, your PAN will be linked with bank account.
