Kotak Air Credit Card is a travel card that offers Air Miles as rewards on every spend you make. This card particularly favours hotel and flight bookings made through the Kotak Unbox platform by offering 3X accelerated rewards, along with a 1:1 Air Miles redemption ratio on this platform.
The earned Air Miles can also be used to purchase instant vouchers, where 1 Air Mile equals Rs. 0.50, or transferred to partner airline or hotel loyalty programs in a ratio of up to 2:1. In addition to the rewards, this card offers complimentary domestic lounge access, which is available only if you meet the quarterly spending condition of Rs. 60,000, an amount that even average spenders can easily achieve. Furthermore, the annual fee is well compensated with bonus Air Miles every year.

The cardholders not only earn higher rewards as Air Miles on the Unbox platform but also get a 1:1 Air Miles conversion ratio on future travel bookings made using it. Moreover, card users can also convert their Air Miles to partner loyalty points across 8 popular partner airlines and hotels. Even though there is no fee waiver option, the card’s fee is offset through 1,000 bonus Air Miles every year, thus minimising the card cost.

You are charged with a forex mark-up of 3.5% on all international or foreign currency spends made using Kotak Air Credit Card.
Kotak Air Credit Card users get 1,000 Air Miles as joining bonus within 120 days of card issuance after joining fee payment. While the renewal bonus of 1,000 Air Miles is credited within 30 days of annual fee payment.
If you make your hotel and flight bookings using Kotak Unbox platform, then you can save 3% on your travel spends in the form of 3 Air Miles per Rs. 100 spent. However, you will earn 1 Air Mile per Rs. 100 spent on all other travel spends.
Kotak Unbox platform is available on Kotak Mahindra Bank mobile app. You can login to the app and click on Wallet or Credit Cards option. Then select Kotak Air Credit Card and scroll to the Air Miles section to check your Air Miles balance. Later, click on Redeem option to access Kotak Unbox which is a platform to make hotel and flight bookings.
The 3X Air Miles earnings are capped at 5,000 Air Miles per month, post which base reward rate will apply. So, if you have reached the monthly capped limit, you will no longer earn 3X rewards.
