Central Bank of India Aspire Credit Card- Features and Benefits

Here are some of the main benefits and features of Central Bank of India Aspire Credit Card:

  • There is a global acceptance of this card.
  • ATM compatibility that allows you to make cash withdrawal anywhere across the world.
  • It is EMV chip-based card that makes your transactions highly secured. Online transactions are safe and secure with the ‘Verified by VISA’ secure code.
  • The card is issued based on the Cent Aspire Fixed Deposit account. Credit limit is allowed up to 100% of the Cent Aspire Fixed Deposit account. Credit limit can vary from ₹ 20,000 to ₹ 10 Lakhs.
  • Central Bank of India Aspire Credit Card holder can get a credit-free period for up to 55 days.
  • Insurance of Personal accident cover of ₹ 1 Lakhs is offered under group insurance scheme.

Central Bank of India Aspire Credit card Eligibility Criteria

  • Applicant has to be more than 18 years old with nationality being an Indian resident.
  • Applicant needs to have Cent Aspire Fixed Deposit Account with the bank. Minimum requirement of the deposit is ₹ 20,000. The deposit account will be lien marked with auto-renewal option.
  • Non-resident Indians are not eligible for Central Bank of India Aspire Credit Card as they cannot open a Cent Aspire Deposit Scheme.
  • KYC compliance is mandatory of applicants.

Central Bank of India Aspire Credit Card Fees and Charges

  • There is no fee for card issuance.
  • Card cancellation and renewal fee are ₹ 100 each.
  • Cash withdrawal charges – ₹ 100 per ATM withdrawal transaction + 1.5% per month from the date the money is withdrawn till the same is repaid.
  • Railway ticket surcharge -2.5% + Rs.30
  • The foreign currency fee with a markup for the same of 3.5%.
  • Fuel surcharge charges – 2.5%.
  • Late payment charges – ₹ 100 per late payment transaction.
  • If the auto-debit is dishonoured, a charge of ₹ 150 is debited.
  • Service charge levied on the amount that is unpaid from the due date is charged at 1.5% per month.
