AU Small Finance Bank (AU SFB) announced the merging of Fincare Small Finance Bank (Fincare SFB) into AU SFB with effect from April 1, 2024, in accordance with directives from the Reserve Bank of India (RBI). The interest rate offered by AU SFB on new fixed deposits will be available to all Fincare Small Finance Bank depositors. Additionally, the fixed deposits (including recurring deposits) that were booked before April 1, 2024 with Fincare Small Finance Bank will continue to accrue interest as per their booked rates till their maturity. Consumers who wish to open new FDs would have to open FDs with AU SFB and should contact the bank to know about the FD-related details.
