Lakshmi Vilas Bank was founded in as early as 1926 under the guidance of Shri V.S.N. Ramalinga Chettiar. It initially started its operation in Karur, Tamil Nadu and subsequently expanded its branch network across India after it obtained its banking license from RBI in 1958 to become a ‘scheduled commercial bank’. Currently headquartered in Chennai, it has branches in almost every state, including New Delhi, Mumbai and so on.
