Types of Shriram Finance Fixed Deposits
- Cumulative Fixed Deposits
- Minimum deposit amount: Rs 5,000
- The interest earned is compounded monthly along with the principal for the invested tenure
- Non-Cumulative Fixed Deposits
- Minimum deposit amount: Rs 5,000
- The interest is payable in monthly, quarterly, half-yearly, or annual installments
- The interest for non-cumulative deposits will be paid as per below:
- Monthly Pay-out – Last day of every month
- Quarterly Pay-out – Last day of March/June/September/December
- Half Yearly Pay-out – Last day of March/September
- Yearly Pay-out – Last day of March
- The first interest is paid on the last day of the following month on which fixed deposit is processed

Features of Fixed Deposits
- Tenure: 1 year to 5 years
- Additional 0.50% interest rate is offered to senior citizen FD depositors
- Additional 0.10% interest rate is offered to women FD depositors
- Additional interest rate of 0.25% on renewals of matured deposits is offered to depositors
- The interest amount is directly credited to the depositor’s bank account through the NEFT only
- Nomination facility is available
- Auto-renewal facility is also available and depositors can opt for any one of the following options:
- Renew principal only on maturity
- Renew both principal and interest on maturity
- The NBFC also offers an Auto refund facility wherein the maturity amount will be credited to the account on the maturity date.

Premature Withdrawal of Fixed Deposits
- Premature withdrawal of fixed deposits is not allowed for up to 3 months (lock-in period) from the date of the deposit/renewal, except in case of the death of the depositor
- No interest will be paid if FD has withdrawn after 3 months but before 6 months
- In case FD is withdrawn after 6 months but before the date of maturity, interest will be paid at 2% lower than the actual interest rate applicable to FD for the tenure for which the deposit has run
- In case no interest rate is specified for that period, then interest will be paid at 3% lower than the minimum rate at which FD was accepted by the company
