The Bank of Maharashtra currently offers 2 credit cards. The reward points that can be earned on them are:

Users can redeem reward points by following the below-laid steps:

• Step 1: First, users have to log in to SBI card account by Clicking here
• Step 2: Users then have to select the product of choice from the Reward catalogue
• Step 3: Cardholders then have to follow the steps to complete the reward redemption process

Another way to redeem reward points is through SBI Card customer care centre. The number is –

How are the reward points calculated?

The reward points are earned on every eligible transaction. Additionally, bonus points are also rewarded to the customers on selected transactions. The accumulated reward points are reflected in monthly bill statement. Here, 1 Reward Point is worth Rs. 0.25.

Do note that SBI Card charges Rs. 99 plus taxes per redemption request, except for digital vouchers sent on customer’s mobile or email id.

How to check your reward points?

The cardholder can check earned reward points summary in the following ways:

• They can refer to the latest credit card statement.
• Chatbot Ask ILA can also be used to view reward points. Just click on Ask ILA then ‘I want to view my statement’ and finally provide your login credentials
• The cardholder can give a missed call at 8422845514 from their registered mobile number
• SMS service can also be used to know the reward points. Send the following SMS- REWARDS XXXX (X is the last 4 digits of the credit card) to 5676791 from registered mobile number
• Customers can log in to SBI card website by clicking here. Once logged in they can view their reward points summary
• Cardholders can also view reward points by logging into SBI Card mobile app

What is the validity period on accumulated Reward Points?

The validity period on accumulated Reward Points is only 36 months. Any points not redeemed shall lapse after that. Moreover, points earned at Partner Stores are valid for a period of 12 months only.

One can have a look at the validity period of reward points by logging on to the SBI card portal or through the mobile app. The same information is also mentioned in the statement which comes at the end of every month.

Can reward points be redeemed if the card account is closed?

If the card account is closed, then reward points cannot be redeemed.

How to redeem reward points through the Mobile App?

To redeem reward points through mobile app one has to follow the below-mentioned steps:

• Download and login to SBI Card Mobile App
• Click on ‘Rewards’ located in the main menu
• Scan the Rewards Catalogue and select the reward item of choice and then complete the transaction
