LIC Credit Card Reward Points - Terms & Conditions

Given below are some points describing the terms and conditions that you must keep in mind regarding the LIC credit card reward points that you can earn using the LIC cards that are in association with Axis Bank:

  • The validity of the LIC reward points is 1 year from their date of accrual, after which they will expire.
  • A minimum of 1,000 LIC reward points are required to apply for points redemption.
  • Handling fee of Rs. 30 + GST is charged on every reward points redemption request.
  • No reward points are accrued on wallet load, fuel and EMI transactions.
  • Maximum 25 gift cards can be bought in a financial year using the earned reward points, after which you can only redeem other products.
  • E-vouchers are sent via SMS on the registered mobile number, while other gift cards and rewards products are delivered to the registered address via courier.
Delight Points are the reward points that you earn by using the IDBI LIC credit cards. Generally, the delight points can be redeemed up to 3 years from their accrual date and each point is equivalent to Rs. 0.25. In a day, you can make up to 9 redemption transactions with the maximum collective total of Rs. 3 lakh. Refer to the official IDBI bank website to know more about the IDBI Delight Programme.

How to Earn LIC Credit Card Reward Points

Depending on the card type, you can earn credit card reward points either through the welcome rewards bonus, card rewards program, or as milestone benefits. You can earn the reward points by making credit card transactions on several categories as described below:

How to Check LIC Credit Card Reward Points

LIC Cards allows its users to check their reward points balance online as well as offline.

  • Online: To check your reward points balance online, you can log into your credit card account.
  • Offline: You can also ask for the number of reward points you have collected by calling on the LIC customer care centre too.

To check and redeem the number of delight points that you have accumulated using the LIC IDBI credit cards, you can log into your IDBI Delight account. To log in, enter your LIC credit card number and registered mobile number, or the registered e-mail ID and captcha shown on the screen.

How to Redeem LIC Credit Card Reward Points

The LIC cardholders can redeem their earned reward points against the rewards catalogue by contacting the LIC customer service. The steps to know how to redeem credit card reward points are as follows:

Step 1: Browse the LIC credit card rewards catalogue and choose the product of choice.

Step 2: Call on the LIC customer care number 18004190064.

Step 3: Share the product code of the item you want to redeem your points for.

Step 4: Select the quantity of the product.

Step 5: Confirm the registered address on which the product will be delivered.

Step 6: Submit your redemption request by giving final confirmation.

In order to redeem the delight points, you need to collect at least 1,000 delight points. However, for every cashback redemption, you need a minimum of 4,000 delight points. Their redemption can be done by:

  • Logging into the IDBI Delight account
  • Calling the IDBI customer care at 1800-208-1947 from Monday to Saturday between 9 am and 6 pm

Q. Can I convert my LIC credit card reward points to air miles?
A. Currently, LIC credit cards do not have a tie-up with any airline loyalty program. So, you cannot convert your reward points to air miles.

Q. When will I receive the rewards that I have bought by redeeming my LIC reward points?
A. The reward products and gift cards against which you have redeemed your LIC credit card reward points are generally delivered within 21 working days from the redemption date. While the e-vouchers are not sent physically, but rather shared via SMS within 10 working days.

Q. Can I get rewards by combining my earned Delight points and cash?
A. Yes, you can combine your IDBI Delight Points and make online payments of the remaining amount to redeem any reward of your choice.

Q. Can I cancel my IDBI reward points redemption order after placing the request?
