Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojna (PMAY) Online Application Form

Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) is one of the government’s initiatives to achieve the goal of providing ‘Housing for All by 2022’. Launched in 2015, the social welfare program aims to provide affordable housing to rural poor as well as urban poor. Under the scheme, the beneficiaries will get an upfront interest subsidy of up to 6.5% on house loans for 20 years along with various other benefits. PMAY scheme is still active. Note: The Union Cabinet has extended the implementation period of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana – Urban (PMAY – U) till December 31, 2024 with all verticals except Credit Linked Subsidy Scheme (CLSS). CLSS vertical for MIG I & II under PMAY U was up to March 31, 2021 and for LIG/EWS was up to March 31, 2022. During the extension period no additional houses will be sanctioned. However, financial assistance is to be provided for the completion of 122.69 lakh houses, which were already sanctioned till March 31, 2022, under BLC, AHP & ISSR verticals of PMAY U.

To apply for PMAY scheme online, individuals need to follow these steps:

Step 1: Visit the PMAY official website at https://pmaymis.gov.in/.
Step 2: Under the ‘Citizen Assessment’ drop-down menu, select the ‘Benefits under other 3 components’ option.

Step 3: Enter your ‘Aadhaar’ or ‘Virtual ID’ and ‘Name as per Aadhaar’

Step 4: You will be redirected to a new page where you will have to fill the PMAY application form online.

 Step 5: Click on the Disclaimer checkbox, enter the Captcha and click on the ‘Save’ button.

Step 1: Log on to the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana official website at pmaymis.gov.in
