In order to fill up the BOB RTGS form, the remitter, the beneficiary and payment details are required. These include:

• Sender’s account number
• Name of the account holder
• Name of the payee
• Beneficiary bank name
• Beneficiary branch name
• Beneficiary bank branch IFSC code
• Beneficiary account number
• Beneficiary account type
• Amount to be paid
• Exchange amount
• Signature of the sender
• Mobile or telephone number of the sender
• PAN number of the sender
• Total amount including amount to be paid and exchange

RTGS can be performed at the Bank of Baroda website or branch only if the amount is more than Rs. 2 lakhs in a day. The maximum amount which can be paid via RTGS is Rs. 5 lakhs per day. RTGS can be performed round-the-clock i.e. 24×7 from Monday to Sunday. One of the critical facts about RTGS money transfer is, as the settlement is recorded directly in the books of Reserve Bank of India, the amount cannot be reversed.

Besides these details, there are some terms and conditions which the sender should keep in mind while filling up the BOB RTGS form. The terms and conditions state:

• The sender is liable to pay for the exchange rate and the GST which is applicable to the RTGS amount
• The sender must enter the correct beneficiary name and account details. In case the details are incorrect, the bank will not be liable for the consequences resulting from the erroneous information entered in the Bank of Baroda RTGS form

The BOB RTGS Form is available in English and Hindi. As the bank permits RTGS transaction in any part of the country, the forms might also be available in local languages at specific branches.

RTGS costs less than demand drafts or cheque deposits. The process is also fast and quick; filling the BOB RTGS form is the only documentation required for RTGS transaction at Bank of Baroda.
