List of various bank holidays falling in year 2020 for the state of Nagaland

As per the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), Indian bank holidays are granted on the 2^nd and 4^th Saturday of every month. Owing to this, banks remain open on the 1^st, 3^rd and 5^th Saturdays of every month as regular working days.

In RTGS, the transactions are processed continuously on a one-to-one basis throughout the RTGS business hours and are most used for high-value transactions.

The RTGS service window for customer transactions is available to banks from 7 am to 6 pm on a working day, for settlement at the RBI end. Here is a list of RTGS Holidays for 2020 in Nagaland:

National Electronic Fund Transfer is a nationwide electronic payment system wherein the transfer of funds is done on half-hourly basis.

NEFT service is available 24*7 365 days a year. The process is based on Deferred Net Settlement (DNS) and the transfer of funds will be carried out on a half-hourly basis starting from 12:30 am to 12:00 pm. Hence people can carry out NEFT transactions accordingly.

In addition to the above mentioned bank holidays, banks also remain shut on the 2^nd and 4^th Saturdays of each month. If a month has five Saturdays, the 5^th Saturday will be a bank working day.
