Investment Objective

Kotak Gold Fund aims to generate returns for its investors by investing in the units of Kotak Gold Exchange Traded Fund.

Investment Strategy

  • The fund primarily invests in the units of Kotak Gold ETF. It may also allocate up to 5% of its assets in debt and money market instruments.
  • The investment strategy of the fund is largely passive in nature.
  • The fund aims to replicate the returns generated by the underlying ETF, with a deviation of not more than 2% on an annualized basis (net of recurring expenses). This deviation would mostly be on account of receipt of cash flows which currently takes 5 days as per current operational procedures.

Who Should Invest

  • Investors having an investment horizon of medium to long term of 3 years and above.
  • Those seeking returns in line with physical gold, subject to tracking error.
