Capital Small Finance Bank has been recognised as a scheduled bank by the RBI, which makes its depositors eligible for deposit insurance provided by the Depositor Insurance and Credit Guarantee Corporation (DICGC). The deposit insurance cover from DICGC, an RBI subsidiary, insures cumulative deposits up to Rs 5 lakh made by each depositor, including his fixed deposits, savings, current, and recurring deposits, in each scheduled bank in case of the failure or merger/amalgamation of a scheduled bank.

Types of Capital Small Finance FD Schemes
Cumulative Deposits
- Depositors can earn interest on a quarterly compounding basis
- Tenure: 1 year to 10 years
- Nomination facility is available
- Depositors can avail loan/overdraft facility for up to 92.5% of the deposit including accrued interest thereon
- Additional 0.50% interest rates are offered to senior citizen FD depositors
Short Term Deposit
- Interest calculation: Simple interest
- Tenure: 15 days to 364 days
- Loan or Overdraft facility is available for up to 92.5% of the deposit amount
- Nomination facility is available
- Senior citizens are offered an additional 0.50% interest rate over the regular fixed deposit interest rate
- The amount in this scheme can be used as margin money for non-fund-based facilities
QIDS (Quarterly Interest Deposit Scheme)
- This scheme offers a quarterly interest pay-out option to depositors
- Tenure: 1 year to 10 years
- Nomination facility is available
- Depositors can avail loan or overdraft facility for up to 92.5% of the deposit
- Additional 0.50% interest rates are offered to senior citizen FD depositors
- Premature withdrawal facility is available before maturity
MIDS (Monthly Interest Deposit Scheme)
- This scheme offers a monthly interest pay-out option to depositors
- Tenure: 1 year to 10 years
- Loan / Advance facility is available for up to 92.5% of the deposit amount
- Senior citizens are offered an additional 0.50% interest rate over the regular fixed deposit interest rate
Tax Saver FD
- Minimum deposit amount: Rs 100 and thereafter in multiples of Rs 100
- Tenure: 5 years (lock-in period)
- Deposits under this scheme are eligible for a tax deduction of up to Rs 1.5 lakh under Section 80C in each financial year
- Tax saving FD can be booked with maturity pay-out and quarterly pay-out
- Nomination facility is available
- This scheme offers an additional 0.50% interest rate to senior citizen FD depositors
- The nominee is entitled to pre-mature encashment of the deposit, in case of death of the primary holder of an FD
