Grievance Redressal
Karnataka Bank has provided complaints/suggestions box, where the customers can drop in their suggestions/grievances, and complaint book/register at every branch where the customers can register their grievances and get an acknowledgement of their complaint. They can also lodge their complaints online through the Grievance Redressal Portal.
If any existing Karnataka Bank Home Loan customer is not satisfied with the service levels of the bank or if the complaints/grievances raised by them at the branch counters are not attended to in a proper manner, they can approach any of the below mentioned channels for the purpose of grievance redressal.
Level 1 – Branch Head
Karnataka Bank Home Loan customers can approach the Branch Head of the bank branch where they had lodged their complaints to seek adequate resolution of their grievances. Every branch also has a notice displayed requesting customers to meet the branch manager if the grievances remain unaddressed.
Any complaint received at the branch level should be resolved within 7 days from the receipt of the complaint. Otherwise, the branch has to refer the complaint to their respective Regional Office for resolution.

Level 2 – Regional Offices

Any complaint received at the Head Office should be redressed/resolved within 30 days from the receipt of the complaint. Any complaint that is rejected, either partially or wholly, by the internal grievance redressal mechanism of the bank has to be escalated internally to the Internal Ombudsman for the final decision. The complainant can approach the Banking Ombudsman appointed by Reserve Bank of India or opt for any other legal avenues available for grievance redressal if he is not satisfied with the bank’s reply even after 1 month from the date of the complaint.
