Electronic money transfer is one of the best ways of monetary transaction these days. RTGS or Real Time Gross Settlement is a form of digital banking that is controlled by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI). The settlement takes place in the record books of RBI and for this reason, the money cannot be revoked once the payment is successful. Keeping pace with the other private and nationalised banks of India, Oriental Bank of Commerce (OBC) has also facilitated the option for RTGS payments. Account-holders must fill-up the OBC RTGS form to initiate money transfer through RTGS.
OBC account holders can make RTGS payments either online or at the bank branch. In the online mode, the RTGS can take place through mobile banking and net banking. The bank permits the users to download and print the OBC RTGS Form. Users can also fill the form online, convert it in a pdf format and then download the same. This form is acceptable both online and at the branch offices of Oriental Bank of Commerce.
In order to fill the OBC RTGS form, the sender should keep the following information handy:
Payment Information – This part consists of the payment details
Remitter Information – This part requires details of the sender or the person who is initiating the RTGS money transfer.
Beneficiary Information- This part requires the details of the recipient of the account holder of the account in which the amount will be deposited.
While filling the OBC RTGS form, the sender needs to accept few terms and conditions as well. These generally state that if there are any consequences due to filling of incorrect information, the bank will not be liable for the same.
