LIC Home Loan Statement

LIC Home Loan Statement is a document wherein a comprehensive record of a borrower’s home loan transactions. This includes the home loan EMI repayments, prepayments made by the borrower and details about charges, if applicable. Stated below are the information provided in the LIC HFL loan statement:

LIC home loan borrowers can download their home loan statement online through LIC HFL Customer Portal (customer.lichousing.com/login) and LIC HFL Home Loans (HOMY) mobile app. Alternatively, borrowers can also visit the LIC HFL branches to fetch their LIC home loan statement.

On every successful transaction, a payment acknowledgement receipt is provided to the borrower on their registered email ID. Borrowers can click on the “Download Receipt” option to download the payment acknowledgement receipt. If no such receipt is provided, the borrower can follow the below steps to get their payment details:

Step 1: Login to LIC customer portal 

Step 2: Select on ‘Pay Online’ option

Step 3: Click on loan account section and tab on ‘Get History’ option 

Step 4: Borrower can check their payment details in case of successful transaction

How to Download LIC Home Loan Provisional & Final Interest Certificate Online 

LIC HFL Provisional Interest Certificate states the expected borrower’s interest payments and the principal amount of their LIC home loan for the respective financial year. The certificate also outlines the date when the loan was sanctioned, loan purpose and the total sanctioned loan amount. Borrowers can access and download their LIC Home Loan Provisional Interest Certificate by visiting LIC Customer portal.  

The final LIC home loan interest certificate is provided at the end of the financial year (FY). The certificate states the summary of the principal and the interest repaid by the borrower throughout the FY. This interest certificate is essential for availing income tax deductions under Section 80C for principal payment and Section 24b for home loan interest payment.

Stated below are the steps on how borrowers can download the LIC home loan interest certificate:

Step 1: Visit LIC Housing HFL website and login to LIC Customer Portal with credentials

Step 2: Under ‘Activities’ tab, select ‘Repayment Certificate’ option

Step 3: From the drop down menu, borrower can select the loan account and financial year for which home loan interest certificate is required

Step 4: For the current financial year, provisional certificate is provided

Step 5: For the final home loan interest rate certificate of the previous financial year, click on “Download Repay Certificate” to download the certificate
