DSP Mutual Fund Lowers Minimum Investment Amount to Rs 500

In two separate notices dated 3rd September, DSP Mutual Fund has lowered the minimum investment amount in all its schemes to Rs 500. The minimum amount will apply to a first purchase, all subsequent purchases and to all SIPs (Systematic Investment Plans). The lower investment amount will facilitate the entry of lower net-worth investors in mutual funds. It will also sync with online app-based investing which is more geared towards smaller amounts and is associated with lower service costs.
