Investment Objective

Canara Robeco Large and Mid Cap Fund, formerly known as Canara Robeco Emerging Equities, seeks to generate capital appreciation by investing in a portfolio of diversified large and mid-cap stocks.

Investment Strategy

• Canara Robeco Large and Mid Cap Fund invests at least 35% of its portfolio each in large cap companies and mid cap companies.
• The fund may invest up to 30% of its portfolio in other equity and equity instruments and debt and money market instruments. It may also invest up to 10% of its portfolio in Reits/Invits.
• It focuses on investing in robust and growth-oriented companies, led by competent management teams and available at reasonable valuations.
• The scheme uses the bottom-up approach for stock-selection, focusing on identifying the best among the emerging companies.
• It follows a long-term investment approach, avoiding herd behaviour and chasing short-term profits and certain market spurs.
• The scheme seeks to identify companies having the potential to become future leaders in their respective sectors.
• It follows the GARP (Growth at Reasonable Price) style of investing.
• During its stock selection process, it factors in the average daily trading volume of the stocks to ensure that at least 60% of the portfolio can be liquidated within 7 working days.
