Types of Punjab & Sind Personal Loan

PSB Personal Loan

Purpose:

PSB Personal Loan is a regular personal loan scheme for meeting the personal financial requirements of government/PSU employees/employees working in MNC/Public Ltd. Companies and confirmed employees of approved educational institutions.

Loan Amount:

  • For permanent government employees/PSU employees/employees of MNC/ employees of an approved education institute: Up to 24 times monthly net salary or Rs 20 lakh, whichever is less.
  • For permanent employees of other private institutions: Up to 18 times monthly net salary or Rs 5 lakh, whichever is less.
  • For pensioners till the age of 65 years: Up to 20 times monthly net pension or Rs 6 lakh, whichever is less.
  • For pensioners aged between 65 years and 70 years: Up to 10 times monthly net pension or Rs 3 lakh, whichever is less.

Tenure:

Up to 7 years, subject to maximum age criteria, whichever is earlier

PSB Veer Samarth

Purpose:

PSB Veer Samarth Personal Loan is offered to individuals maintaining a Gaurav Bachat Salary account and pensioners maintaining pension accounts with Punjab & Sind Bank for meeting personal requirements like travel expenses, medical or marriage expenses.

Loan Amount:

  • For salaried applicants: Up to 24 times monthly net salary or Rs 20 lakh, whichever is less.
  • For loan amount above Rs 10 lakh is offered to those applicants having CIC score 725 or above.
  • For pensioners till the age of 65 years: Up to 20 times monthly net pension or Rs 6 lakh, whichever is less.
  • For pensioners aged between 65 years and 70 years: Up to 10 times monthly net pension or Rs 3 lakh, whichever is less.

Eligibility Criteria for Punjab & Sind Bank Personal Loan

For PSB Personal Loan

  • Salaried applicants, pensioners, permanent government employees (Central/State government), employees of MNC/Public Limited Companies, PSU employees, permanent employees of an approved educational institute.
  • Age Criteria:
    • Minimum age: 21 years
    • Maximum age: For Salaried: date of retirement from services; For pensioners: 70 years

For PSB Veer Samarth

  • Applicants maintaining their Gaurav Bachat Salary and pension accounts have respective salary and pension credits with Punjab & Sind Bank.
  • Age Criteria:
    • Minimum age: 21 years
    • Maximum age: For pensioners: 70 years

Punjab & Sind may also consider the monthly income and credit score of its personal loan applicants just like other lenders do while setting their personal loan eligibility.

Documents Required for Personal Loan Application

  • Completely filled and signed application form with 2 passport sized photographs
  • ID Proof
  • Address and Age Proof
  • Income Proof:

For Salaried:

  • ITR Form 16 for past 3 years
  • Original/certified copy of latest salary slips for last 3 months
  • Statement of personal asset and liability
  • In case of other bank, bank account statement for past 6/12 months
  • Statement of loan account for past 6 months
  • Bio-data of the applicant with age, educational qualifications, job experience, nature of business/profession with vital proofs
  • Income proof of parents/spouse/earning children to determine the loan amount/repaying capacity of the loan applicant
  • ITR of guarantor for last 2 years
  • Guarantor’s form along with income proof/net worth proof
  • An undertaking letter by the employer for remittance of EMI
