Porsche launched the new ultra-luxury Macan R4 SUV at Rs.76.84 lakhs (Delhi ex-showroom price). This is the 4th variant of the flagship Macan brand to be introduced in the Indian automobile market after S diesel Turbo.
Macan R4 has 2.0-liter, four-cylinder petrol engine which would produce 370Nm torque and 252PS power. With a 7-speed dual clutch transmission, the power is sent to all four wheels. Porsche claims that the new Macan can go from 0-100kmph in just 6.7 seconds and boasts of a top speed of 229kmph.

Macan R4 is equipped with PASM (Porsche Active Suspension Management), 7-inch PCM (Porsche Communication Management), touchscreen infotainment, Cruise control, 18-inch alloy wheels, multi-functioning steering wheel with paddle shifters, powered tailgate and daytime running LEDs. Buyers can also choose personalisation options such as panoramic sunroof, heated seats and Bi-xenon or LED headlamps.
At this price point, Porsche Macan R4 would compete with Jaguar F-Pace. Porsche dealerships will be accepting a deposit of Rs.10 lakhs for the booking of Macan R4 and it will be available soon for deliveries.
