Paytm HDFC Bank Credit Card is a co-branded card and the base variant of Paytm HDFC Bank Select Credit Card. It is an entry-level card offering 3% Cashpoints on select Paytm spends and 2% Cashpoints on other Paytm spends. Besides this, the card offers a base reward rate of 1% on non-Paytm spends.
One thing to note is that this card earlier offered complimentary Paytm First membership as a joining benefit, which has now been discontinued. At present, despite charging a joining fee of Rs. 500, the card does not offer any welcome benefits. However, cardholders can avail joining and annual fee waivers on achieving the spending milestones.
The card also offers cashback of Rs. 1,200 every year as a milestone benefit, along with other basic benefits such as a fuel surcharge waiver and dining discount. For consumers who frequently shop or pay via Paytm and are looking for an entry-level credit card with basic benefits, this card can be a suitable option.
