Parag Parikh Mutual Fund is a SEBI-registered mutual fund house that was incorporated in 2011. Its asset management company is officially known as PPFAS Asset Management Private Limited and is sponsored by Parag Parikh Financial Advisory Services (PPFAS) Limited, which was founded in 1992 by the late Parag Parikh.
Unlike many AMCs that offer a wide range of schemes across multiple categories, PPFAS follows a more focused approach. It maintains a limited PPFAS Mutual Fund List, with its schemes built around a few high-conviction investment strategies and a long-term, research-driven approach.
Neil Parikh, the son of Parag Parikh (after whom the mutual fund is named), currently leads the AMC as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. On the investment side, Rajeev Thakkar serves as Chief Investment Officer and whole-time director.
