Further on 1st July 1999, HVPNL split into two named Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam Limited (DHBVNL) and Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam Limited (UHBVNL).
Through its distribution and billing operations, DHBVN plays an important role in ensuring reliable electricity supply and managing electricity services for consumers in its service areas.
