SBI Card Miles is a travel credit card designed to make your travels more rewarding. It offers Travel Credits as rewards on every card spend with a higher earning rate on travel spends. Though the reward rate of up to 1% struggles to compete with other similar cards, the travel-related redemption options make up for it by offering up to 1:1 points-to miles conversion ratios for 20+ top airline and hotel partners such as Air India, British Airways, Etihad Airways, IHG Hotels & Resorts, Radisson Hotels and many more. Other travel benefits include complimentary airport lounge access and spend-based bonus Travel credits and card fee reversal. Entirely focused on travel, this card is suitable for those who wish to get an agnostic travel credit card for domestic travels and is the base variant among other such SBI Card offerings – SBI Card Miles Prime and Miles Elite.

Features and benefits of SBI Miles credit card all focus on travel-related perks and savings. It comes with an accelerated reward rate on travel spends without any merchant restriction. The earned reward points can be used for future travel bookings by converting them into air miles or loyalty points of an extensive list of partner airlines and hotels in up to 1:1 ratio. The cardholders also get a good number of complimentary visits to domestic airport lounges which can be further increased in number depending on the annual spends.
SBI Card Miles stands out as a well-rounded travel credit card, offering a mix of reward points as Travel Credits, milestone benefits and other travel perks. However, the reward earning rate of this card is quite limited and does not offer much for those looking for rewards on non-travel spending categories, like shopping, dining, or entertainment. So, cardholders can only maximise the value-back by rewards redemption against flight tickets and hotel reservations by converting the reward points into partner airmiles or hotel points. All other card features are also focused towards travel so if you are looking for a card for your travels, then this card is a decent choice. For a better value-back, you can also opt for other SBI Card Miles variants - Miles Prime or Miles Elite. However, if you want a card that also rewards daily expenses and other category spends, like dining, shopping and others, you may want to explore alternative options with broader overall benefits.
Everything you need to know about this credit card
Yes, the earned reward points (Travel Credits) are only valid for 24 months from the date of their accrual.
Regular Travel Credits will reflect in your account within 10 days of the spend date and those earned as welcome bonus will reflect within 15 working days from the date of reaching the spending milestone.
No, there is no capping on reward earnings or redemptions. However, the cardholders must use at least 2,000 Travel Credits for every redemption and must redeem their Travel Credits in the multiples of 2,000.
Despite offering a complimentary Priority Pass to the cardholders, SBI Card Miles does not offer any free international lounge visit. Cardholders can access the lounges under this program without paying membership fee, but will have to pay the visit charges nonetheless.
