IndiGo SBI Card ELITE is one of the two SBI cards co-branded with IndiGo airlines, with IndiGo SBI Card as its base variant. With these cards, SBI Card has joined the IndiGo BluChips co-branded cards universe after Kotak Mahindra Bank. Issued only to those who already have an active IndiGo BluChips membership, IndiGo SBI ELITE offers up to 7% back as IndiGo BluChips on travel spends which can later be redeemed on IndiGo app/website. In addition to these, it also comes with bonus IndiGo BluChips on joining, card renewal and as milestone benefits, which not only make up for its fee but also add to the overall savings as per the user’s spending capacity.
Tailor-made for IndiGo loyalists who have to travel quite often, all the benefits of this card are dedicated to co-branded travel savings. Even when compared with IndiGo Kotak XL, this card takes the lead with international lounge access and flight cancellation covers which the Kotak variant lacks. However, it falls behind when it comes to the reward rate on IndiGo spends with the Kotak credit card offering up to 21% back, compared to its 7%.
