SBI Cards & Payments Services Pvt. Ltd., commonly known as SBI Cards, is one of India’s leading payment solution providers. The company is a joint venture between State bank of India and GE Capital. The two collaborated in 1998 with the intention of developing the business of credit cards in India. SBI Cards is front end of the business which focuses on distribution and marketing of credit cards whereas GE Capital Business Process Management Services handles the technology and processing business as a captive BPO unit. It has branches in over 50 cities and has a customer base of 3.75 million across India. SBI Cards recorded a net profit of Rs.271 crore at the end financial year which ended in March 2016.

How Make Payment of SBI Credit Cards

SBI Cards provides cardholders with multiple options to pay off their credit card debt. The following are some of the leading payment options available to individuals:

Online card payment options

You can easily pay your due SBI card payment by using National Electronic Funds Transfer (NEFT). It is quick and simple way to pay off your credit card bills. Just log in to your net banking account and add SBI as beneficiary under Third party Transfer (TPT). For making an SBI card online payment, you need to enter the IFSC code SBIN00CARDS and enter your 16- digit card number. Fill up your bank name as Sbi credit card – NEFT and address as Payment Systems Group, State Bank GITC, Belapur, Navi Mumbai. Click submit button in order to complete the registration process and making NEFT payment of your credit card.

By using your VISA credit card, you can anytime transfer funds to your another Visa credit card by using the net banking facility of your bank. It is a secure and quick way for doing your SBI online card payment. You just need to login to your net banking page using your customer ID and password and choose Third Party Transfer option given on the page. Select Visa Credit card pay option and fill up the sender and recipient details in order to initiate the fund transfer. After filling everything just click “confirm” and the amount will get debited to your account.

By using Electronic Bill pay service, you can conveniently make your online SBI card payment. You can easily avail this service through ATM, Net banking or using Mobile banking of State Bank of India, Citibank, Indian Overseas Bank and Bank of India.

Just login to your net banking page of any of the above mentioned banks where you have an existing account and add SBI card as “biller”. Add your card details and payment amount and simply make the SBI online payment.

By using SBI Card mobile app, you can make hassle free online payment of SBI card by using your mobile. Just download the app from Google app store and register with your SBI Card online user ID and password. Click on the “Pay now” button available at the bottom of account summary page and enter your email ID and registered Mobile number and select the amount that you need to pay. By selecting an appropriate payment option and entering the details about your bank, page will get redirected to your bank’s payment interface in order to make the payment. You will receive a message on your registered phone number and an e-mail of online transaction confirmation including a reference number. Your debited payment will reflect within 2 working days in your SBI credit card account.


Offline credit card payment options

  1. Through SBI ATM:You can pay your SBI credit card bill through any SBI ATM across India. SBI ATMs are broadly available and it is one the safest options of paying your SBI card dues. Just visit your nearest SBI ATM and insert your card and choose “Bill Pay” option, by entering your SBI card number and amount that has to be paid, you can easily pay off your SBI credit card dues. Don’t forget to collect the payment receipt.
  2. Through Pay Cash:This is the most hassle-free option of paying off your SBI card dues. Easy bill is a part of hero group of companies and there are over 15,000 easy bill outlets available across 300 cities in India. Just walk into any of the nearest easy bill outlet and give your necessary transaction details such as card umber, amount to be paid and mobile number. Make the payment and collect the electronically generated receipt of payment
  3. Through Electronic Dropbox:You can make your SBI card payment through a cheque. It is one of the simplest methods of paying off your outstanding credit card payment. Just insert the cheque into a dropbox and you will receive a scanned image of your deposited cheque. Make sure you do not submit the outstation cheques through electronic dropbox. Avoid submitting a folded or stapled cheques. Your payment will reflect in 3 or 4 working days. 
  4. Over the counter payment:There are over 20,000 SBI branches available across India. You just need to visit your nearest SBI branch and fill in the pay slip with all the required account details. Submit the pay-slip along with the cash payment over the counter and collect the payment receipt.

No documents or paperwork is required. A cheque with the required amount will get deliver to you within 3 working days. You will need to give only one-time processing fee of 2%, maximum up to Rs.3,000 and minimum up to Rs.499.

  • Easy Money

With SBI Cards, you will be able to get instant money at your doorstep. By opting Easy money option, you can avail a minimum amount of Rs.5,000 and maximum of up to 75% of your cash limit. Enjoy this service with comparatively lower interest rates from other loan plans. Requested amount will be delivered at your doorstep in form of a cheque.

  • ATM Cash

You can also withdraw cash from ATM machine whenever you need. You just need to generate your SBI card PIN before withdrawing cash from an ATM. You need to pay service charges monthly and annually with every transaction you make through your credit card from the date of withdrawal to the date of repayment of complete withdrew amount. A charge of 3.35% P.M and 40.2% P.A is levied on these withdrawals.
